This tool draws on two external data sources to populate its city and university rankings. All underlying data remains the property of its respective rightsholders. This site does not claim any ownership over the underlying data and merely re-aggregates it for demonstration purposes. Anyone wishing to reuse, redistribute, or build on this data must consult and comply with the original providers' own terms of use and licensing conditions, linked below.
City Data — Eurostat Urban Audit
City-level indicators are sourced from the Eurostat Urban Audit, a statistical programme of the European Commission collecting comparable data on the quality of life in European cities. The Urban Audit covers over 900 cities across EU member states and several partner countries. This data remains the property of Eurostat / the European Union. Reuse of this data is governed by Eurostat's copyright notice and licensing policy, which requires (among other things) acknowledgement of the source. Anyone wishing to reuse this data should consult that policy directly rather than relying on its presentation here.
University Data — QS World University Rankings
University rankings are based on the QS World University Rankings, published annually by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). The rankings assess universities across dimensions including academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty-to-student ratio, citations per faculty, international faculty ratio, and international student ratio. This data, including the rankings, scores, and underlying methodology, is the property of QS Quacquarelli Symonds Limited and is reproduced here in modified/aggregated form solely for non-commercial research and educational demonstration purposes. It is not an official QS product and is not endorsed by QS. Anyone wishing to use, republish, or build on this data for any other purpose must consult and comply with QS's own terms of use and seek any necessary permissions directly from QS.
